Halyburton Park is a fairly new park in the Wilmington area. However, it is not one to be overlooked. Halyburton has an events center, picnic shelters, many nature trails, a 1.3-mile-long asphalt pathway that circles the property, and an ambiance that is unmatched by any other park in Wilmington.

Hugh MacRae Park is arguably the most intriguing and popular park in all of Wilmington. As you drive past the 98-acre park, you can't help but notice its existence.
Hugh MacRae Park has many different features such as tennis courts, 2 playgrounds, plenty of baseball fields, picnic shelters, a nice-sized pond filled with a plethora of wildlife, and what seems to be an endless field of trees.
